as controlling n stalkerish that his behaviour and actions are, somewhere in there i feel are the best of intentions .. he seems to have really fallen for bella and in an attempt to keep her safe has crossed the line. difficult to know how he couldve done it better and still kept her safe. perhaps he shldve introduced himself so that she couldve gotten to know him a bit. his actions seem a bit extreme but he seems to have developed this trait for a reason.

She forgave him b/c friends do that even when friends act stupid. They have been best friends since diapers, Bella is so soft hearted that she couldn't not forgive him. if that makes sense lol. But forgivng someone doesn't mean trust is in tact. That will take time. I believe that will be something that Edward may have issue with...perhaps ;)

OMG talk about cave man .. so edward somehow convinces himself that he can see anyone and do anything he likes .. i can just imagine if the sit'n was reversed and bella feared she was pregnant by someone else after having drunken unprotected sex .... bet edward wld freak ... so he is afraid he'll lose her if he lets her go but cant see her right to b upset or angry enuf to leave ... as she said he freaks every time she even talks to her male friends
talk about dbl standards .. he stalked her on facebook when he realised she was emmetts sister yet now he's upset coz she's been stalking him ....
so what will bella do ... does she love him enuf to stick with him .. i think she does and as she said, he didnt technically cheat on her coz he didnt know who she was or how to contact her ... hopefully tanya isnt pregnant .. long way to come just to take a pregnancy test .. perhaps she is angling for a relationship???

i'm also not a major fan of esme so i was interested to see her alienated by her own behaviour ... serves her right ... what sort of mother was she that she could sacrifice her son's happiness in an attempt to hide her past -- yes she had a breakdown but her lies led to so much suffering ... i'm not sure if her breakdown was due to her guilt, her lies, her fear of exposure or her inability to control the situation; or a combination of everything - either way glad she had minimal influence on edward/bella and edward/bella/kids
also glad that alice, the control freak everything has to go her way pixie didnt manage to interfere in edward/bella's relationship

wow ... ur fic is brilliant ... so well written and the storyline is so real ... my heart breaks for bella and not only for how much she has suffered but also for how is still and prob always will, affect her ... i love the edward/bella coupling and tho it took 22 chapters for edward to finally admit that he loves her, i'm glad that he did ... he constantly wonders what she's thinking and wants her to be completely honest with him yet he held back himself ....
i cant help but feel that james is about to make an appearance ... the dog's collar, someone watching bella's house, bella not always answering her phone ...it feels imminent and it makes me nervous for them ...
i also dont understand how bella copes with the blindfold ... her fear of the dark and small dark places makes me wonder how she doesnt freak out when edward blindfolds her .. even tho she trusts and loves him, i thought it'd take much longer and need to be introduced in increments for her to be able to tolerate the blindfold .. is that why she had those nightmares that night he blindfolded her??? did it subconsciously trigger her memories??? and considering how expressive her eyes are, i expected edward to need to guage her mental state by being able to see her eyes??????????
anyway i'm hooked on ur fic and love the banter esp the bella/leah/jacob relationship ..

tho i understand aro/jane's relationship i hope that bella and edward dont enter into an identical relationship ... i can see that bella needs edward to be strong and steadfast and that she finds security in his dominance but i also feel that i like them also on more of an equal footing .. ie part time d/s and part time just 2 ppl in love
considering bella's traumatic histroy and her exposure to real life d/s lifestyle, i do feel that edward was a bit harsh with all the punishments at once - i hope that she writes all of thses thoughts/feelings/insecurities she experiences in her journal so that edward can really see what bella is going through and also so that he wont punish her again but retreating from her .. he will know and understand her need to sleep with him - not only sexually but moreso emotionally supportive

While the men went out to get started we worked in the kitchen making lunch. There wasn’t much room in the galley style kitchen, so I stood on the outside of the counter preparing the fruit salad, While Alice worked at the counter pressing burgers and Rose stood opposite me chopping vegetables for a salad.
“Alice thanks again for all the outfits, I’m sorry I should have called you yesterday” She looked up from her goo covered hands.
“I wasn’t sure if Edward was going to give them to you yesterday or not. Did everything fit?”
“Yes and I didn’t show…” I hesitated for a second catching myself before saying Edward’s name, I wasn’t sure if that was allowed. I cleared my throat to not sound stupid then added “…how the dress looked on me”
I was sort of proud of myself; Rose caught my eye and smirked, I guess I didn’t fool her.
“The only real problem with that dress is you can’t get on your knees.” Rose announced like she was telling me the time. Alice looked over her shoulder while she washed her hands.

and is there any way to ensure that no one gets access to bella's med records ... if they get out and are posted on eg the internet/ gossip site/ club site it would destroy bella .. she has a hard enuf time dealing with it as is and i dont think she could cope if she knew others knew

looks like edward needs to spk to aro ... by not being the dom that he really is, he is letting bella down .. she needs him to be the same with her esp after she confided in him .. by him treating her differently now it consolidates her feelings of inadequacy and lack of self worth .... surely edward can distinguish b/w the bdsm relationship and the abuse she received at jame's hands ... aftercare has always been a major part of their 'usuals' and look at how james left bella .. physically and emotionally broken .. if edward isnt careful he will push bella over the edge and not only lose her but destroy her

Author's Response: Thank you for the thoughts. the reunion of the bella and edward will be a family event that is for sure. as for the phone and email. He needed to be close to her. He knew she ahd lived there for a year. He also needed to get the entire family together in one place. It was just safer.

Jasper sat down and listened while his parents told him that he was gonna be a big brother in about five months. He had noticed that his mom had been getting sick a lot lately and that she seemed to have been getting a little chubbier, but he hadn’t thought anything of it. Now he understood why.
