Hmm, I think they both said it at the same time.
As far as who the Mystery POV is I have to wonder if it isn't Esme. She has been known to be evil in other fics, and would be the perfect bad guy in this one. If it is her I think her motivation is either jealousy or revenge: bottom line for both theories is that hubby didn't get elected President, but may be attempting to find a way in for Carlisle. She just has a side kink for Rosalie. I don't put anything past any of these fics these days. ;-) There are a few other theories as to whom the Mystery POV belongs to (Emmett, Jake, Aro, VP Cheney), but for now I'll stick with Esme.

Not hating on Edward. I can see where he's coming from; he's in self-protection mode. We all do it sometime or another, buuut he needs to get his head out of his ass and I have a feeling that good ol' Emmett is gonna help with that quite, umm, abruptly... Loving the story!

Aww.. nice to hear ya dont hate on Edward. You are right... there is areason for his feelings and reactions.. namely Lizzie and unresolved feelings there.. I have a feeling Em will give him the kick start he needs!
