I am in my 50's, and I am livng my dream of living on a small ranch in Oklahoma. I grew up in Seattle Washington. I will be slowly reworking all my stories. As to my two originals that have now been taken down. I'm sorry for those who have been enjoying these stories, but I'm still working on getting them published and per some of the companies guidelines the can't be posted anywhere on the net. Thank you to all that supported me in trying to get TWCS to publish my works, but saddly they don't like my stories.

"What if we find a cardigan for you to wear, just out of the house?" I went over to the sweaters and found a pewter cardigan that didn't make the dress look horrible, so it was added to our purchases as Kate changed and brought out her dress.
I think the word should be adorrible not horrible....

loved it and there are so many different forms of autism, sometimes it's hard to determ if a child has autism or not. Some very normal children don't talk until they are older. My youngest son would count or call for his cousin and that was it. You test his IQ and it's pushing 200... He was in speach until he was in 7th grade when he finally could talk like normal kid his age. My older son was a slow learner in school and the school wanted me to have him classified as disabled he also has a high IQ... Each kid is so different. I have known kids with Autism that could talk your ear off on the phone, but get them in the same room and they became mute. My husbands best friend has a 4 year old little girl who has autism. He resently sent us a video of a conference his wife spoke in in Sacremento, CA.... It was in Spainsh so I can't tell you what they said.

I will start with that is this a very well written story. Have you ever thought of researching your story before you write? Your military information is so off and you could have found out this information on the internet.
One when a unit is deploy during war times they are only deployed for 12 months, the only time a person would be over there long is if they volunteered to transfer to a unit that was just getting into country.
Two people don’t join special forces they are recruited to try out and not everyone passes, they do accept a minimal number of applications each year, but still they have to pass all the tests and requirements.
Three even if you’re on a special team you can write and even call home, you just can’t tell them your whereabouts.
As someone who has served during wartime and has had, many family members serve also you are doing an injustice to our service members and for that, I cannot continue reading this story.

I did do research before I wrote this story. HOWEVER, it is FICTION. I did take some liberties here and there, but who doesn't when they are writing. I have never had someone review that has served before, so I am sorry if I am doing a disservice to you or your fellow soldiers. That was not the intent. How far into the story did you even read? To ensure moral is high all branches of the military encourage contact with home. I severed during Desert Storm back in 90-91. We were driven to a call center once a week to call home; we were not allowed to talk about anything that was going on in country.
These current wars Afghanistan and Iraq each base has call centers and computers for emails.
I’ve had one son, my step daughter and two nephews over there. I talked to my son daily via chat on FB. Just like when I was in he could never talk about what was going on in country. The military encourages all soldiers to have pen pals so they know there are other people that care besides their families.
To write to a person you have to have their unit APO address. I loved getting letters from home as well as care packages. I even got to meet my Pen Pal when I got back. It was awesome I had Easter dinner with them.
I guess I just couldn’t handle the part about the family not hearing from Jasper because he joined a special forces unit, which they didn’t know about and so he wasn’t in contact with them. That would never happen. It don’t matter what your child does when at war you worry.
