Hi! Sorry it took me so long to respond. No, apparently I didn't write that right. Jacob wants Edward to replace him as a brother in case he dies. He didn't want anything romantic between them, but he wanted to make sure his sister was protected. Who better than his best friend?

I sat back from the pool for a moment and closed my eyes, allowing the last five months to assault me. I tried desperately not to think of my son and what happened to him. I’ve been focusing on Alice for most of that time, hoping she finally found the love she deserves. She never knew that Edward was her brother, and unless things change, she never will know. I plan to keep that secret until the end of my days.
Unless of course, Mordred foils the plan.

He is immortal in the fact that he is a ghost. He will always be following her and she will see him throughout the rest of her life. As for her pregnancy, I wanted the readers to draw their own conclusion. In my head, she is, but if someone doesn't want to see that, it is completely fine.

I narrowed my eyes. “And as your girlfriend, I can make life in the bedroom for you very difficult.”
