I made it, I finally caught up! Well everything seems to be good, so I guess I was wrong in my semi-bad thoughts. I have such a suspicious mind. Even at the last chapters of a story, I sometimes think someone or something is going to jump out, and all hell would break loose. This was a great chapter. Am I wrong to be happy that Mike got a little more than he deserved? I can't say I would have been sorry if you had killed him off though. I can't shake this nagging feeling I have regarding Mike, maybe I've read too many stalker type stories where you think they are gone, dead, or just out of the picture and as soon as you feel safe they jump out at you. I have such a crazy imagination. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next chapter. :) xoxo Oh I almost forgot, I think Bella's parent's wedding rings are in that velvet jewelry box. *shrugs* Just a guess. I think that you will be happy to know that 100% for sure Mike is no longer anything, but a bad memory. He served his purpose, of causing them to get closer. The preview of the next chapter is of course subject to changes, during the BETA process. My tense usage stinks, so it always has to be fixed. “Hello, ladies,” Edward says, as he strolls into the kitchen.
“I was just coming in to get Bella. Dad would like to take a look at you before he goes to bed.”
“Okay, we will clean this up, and I will be right out,” I say.
“Bella, go ahead and see Carlisle, Charlotte and I will clean this mess. Edward, please let your father know that I will be up shortly,” Esme says.
“Of course mom, goodnight,” Edward says while leaning over to kiss her cheek. “Goodnight Charlotte,” Edward says.
“Goodnight girls, I am off to be checked over, than go to bed. See you both in the morning,” I say.
I hug both my friend, and Edward’s mom than follow Edward out the door. We walk hand and hand to the living room. Carlisle asks me about my headache, and checks my blood pressure. He suggests I take some Tylenol, and get some rest. Edward and I head off to bed, after bidding both Carlisle and Peter goodnight.

I loved this first chapter so very much! I could just kick myself for not reading your story sooner, I've had it fav'd since the end of July! I'm really looking forward to reading the rest.
I do love my canon characters, but the subtle changes that you made to fit your story are great. I like to read a story that's a little different in that way, I think it makes a story 'pop', if that makes sense.
I had to laugh at myself when Edward just attached himself to Bella's lips because as I was reading, I threw my hand over my eyes and said "Edward, no!" I'm not exactly sure why I had that reaction, maybe I thought it was too soon, or the fact that Bella is seventeen, or it just came out of no where.(sorry for rambling on) Oh, that was something I wanted to mention; I loved that you had Bella say that she had a 'faucet mouth', it was so cute and I've never heard that expression. In most stories when a character keeps rambling on they call it 'word vomit', so I loved that you came up with a new expression.
I think you could call me a 'faucet mouth', it seems to fit right about now. I can almost sense you yawning as you read this novel of a review. Well I love the start of your story and I can tell I'm going to love the whole thing. Thanks so much for writing. =) Kelly

Fuck yeah! You know you're good when your readers get hot just reading your words. Not all authors can make the story come alive like that, and I'm not just referring to the lemons.
Personally, I think that Bella will be more curious and willing to learn a lot about Edward's lifestyle. Hell, she's lusted after him since she was 15; I'd say she's more than ready and willing to please Edward. I think her want for him will overshadow any concerns she may feel. Maybe I'm giving her too much credit right away. Or not; look at how eager she was to let Edward take her clothes off, she hasn't known him that long, but it seems to me that she'll bend to his will pretty easily. She already has in some small ways. Bella may be a little stunned at first, but I think she'll get over it pretty quickly. JMO
