I understand the decisions made, as painful as they could be. But it has been the entire semester and nothing has been solved??? That's the one thing that has me shocked. I thought the Cullens would have done something or found a way.
Bella has been on her own for too long without a single word from them... or Carlie. What aobut her? What did they say to her?
As for Bella's decision of leaving, it's understandable too. Lets hope something can be done and soon!!!!
Date: 05 Jan 2011 Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 24 - Heartache
I do hope Jessica is out of the story. They have enough to deal with as it is now to add her into the mix.
It is going to take a lot of time, patience, effort, hugs, tears, screams, counseling and who knows what else for things to start getting back to normal. They have made such a huge mess, and now it's time to clean up and re-build. Add to it all the new things they will have to deal with and yep, a long way.
Will we hear from Carlie? She is one of the most affected here. So far we know she has been difficult to deal and handle, not a surprise there. But how is she feeling about it? What does she think? One thing is what her family sees and another what's really inside her. How will she be with Bella? With her dad, with everything?
As for Bella's current medical situation, the anorexia sounds as something that is quite understandable and possible. It isn't the easiest thing to deal with, especially given the accident, but it's what her life is like right now. One good thing, she has plenty of people who love her around.
Date: 09 Jan 2011 Title: Chapter 25: Chapter 25 - Beginning to Heal
About their resolving of their issues, I think it's going rather well. It has to be tough to re-start something again with the same person while both having changed so much. Some things should be easy while others have to be more complicated. But all relationships are. The huge pink elephant in the room came out and it was far less difficult than either expected. That was because Edward needs to face alone a huge part of that situation. The doctor hasn't mentioned again, simply because as Edward said, one problem at a time. But he has to realize she will bring it up and he will have to face it, and it will probably be sooner rather than later.
Edward's needs and desires for intimacy are more than understandable, and I am pretty sure Bella is feeling something similar. However, feeling it isn't exactly the same as being ready for it. Edward is starting to be reckless because of it. Going back to the place they went out for the first time is a great idea, the rest of the plan, not so much. I think the first big step back is about to make its appearance.
Some might wonder about Bella's weight issues. As grave in health as they were, the root of it was clear, and not so complicated to address. As soon as she was surrounded by Carlie and Edward at meal times, eating would stop being a pain. It wouldn't change from one day to the next but it has been progressing.
So... we are about to go out on a second first date...

Okay, so he had reason enough to get drunk, that doesn't make it okay. Especially with what Bella had planned, which he knew about. He has to pay for it, it might sound mean but lets face it, who doesn't like to be pampered after "he" feels bad for something? ;)
Bella wasn't happy with Dr. Mills making her face herself, she was almost ready to walk out. Good thing she didn't, she wouldn't have able to realize things that she needed to face. This doesn't she won't make a mistake again, but it will be less likely.
As for Emmett and Rose, that's what worked for them. I can't see them with a "regular" wedding. Even if Esme wants to come and hit me ;)

Life can't be perfect, there has to be a bit of ups and downs. Communication is their huge down point, it can't be fixed that easily. The good thing is they are talking instead of reacting and acting without thinking.
The house switch was a good idea, and it seems to be going really well and quick. So.. we are going to the wedding and then .... alone time in their honeymoon. Where is going to be? Will it be a surprise?

That talk, as needed as it is, hasn't happened yet because the timing hasn't been the right one. Both of them have done lots of thinking about it, and they are still doing so. After the thinking comes the talking and it's closer every moment and chapter.
They did it, they finally did it. They are married and a family, a family that has begun to grow right from the start. Life will be good but not always easy. Carlie is growing and she has a temper, just like her dad. There will be quite some fights between those two I guess.
Still no clue were the Honeymoon will be. Bella apparently went along with the surprise factor.
One thing sadly clouded the chapter, Phil's call. I understand Bella putting it aside for now. It's not out of spite to her mother, but because she is doing what she wants and needs. She is putting herself first, and that's really good. About Renee, we'll have to give it some time....

It's good that they finallly got that out into the open. I like the way you handled it. Edward's reasons for wanting that in the past and changing his mind now were valid.
As you said, they still have plenty of talking to do, the honeymoon is a good place to do so. I do hope that won't be what takes most of their time there. ;)
Date: 07 Mar 2011 Title: Chapter 37: Chapter 37 - A Promise Broken isn't Easily Fixed
Temptation is usually right there at the corner, always ready to pounce on the first one who gets distracted enough. This time it was Edward. However temptation had some helpers, Edward and yes Bella and of course life it self. There are two people in every relationship, and it takes two to ruin and to fix things. The amount of guilt varies, but both did put something into the situation.
This time, Edward has more guilt. Yes, life turned hectic, but he wasn't last, he felt that way but it wasn't exactly true. He should have tried to see things from a different perspective. As for Kristen, well she saw what was happening and figured it was the only chance. She was right. Thankfully Edward kind of snapped not that late.
Life is like this, we might not like to see it portrayed with such accuracy, but this is it.
Date: 31 Jan 2011 Title: Chapter 30: Chapter 30 - The Kind of Horse You Can Only Find in Bora Bora
It was more than expected for Carlie to not be thrilled or even happy about the baby. Any kid getting a new baby isn't too pleased, add to it all that she has gone through and well, she is doing better than she could. Lets hope it gets better.
Good news all around, well almost, the one exception is Bella's mom. I think Edward did good in not telling her sooner. As for Bella's reaction, it's understandable, but it might change in the future.
Date: 03 Feb 2011 Title: Chapter 31: Chapter 31 - The Great Car Caper
No one needed to tell Edward why the police took Emmett, and Edward didn't need to ask because I think they all assumed the reason or have found out by now. He was upset that he had to be Bella's back-up coach and Edward said nothing in his defense. Then the reason for the lie became the truth, sadly in a terrible way. Emmett must have not only been angry with Edward but very, very scared for Bella and the baby. I assume Rosalie got there in time to see security holding Emmett and she probably didn't say a thing, or it was the hospital personal, I guess we will find out next chapter. Did he spend the night in jail? Has he found out about the car?
As for the baby, it's great that he is here, small but healthy.
As for the purse Edward was about to buy.... did Bella really want it? I hope she did, she doesn't usually want fancy expensive stuff. It has to be a lovely purse.

It took Bella long enough to put both guys in their place. Yes, loosing your mom is terrible. We tend to forget we aren't the only ones suffering. Carlisle was hurting also, and his sons hadn't considered that. They just decided to get upset.
Esme was an amazing wife, Carlisle could never and would never forget her. He simply doesn't like being lonely, something very understandable.
Bella and Edward needed the time in the cabin, too bad it was interrupted and cut short.

Yes, Carlie hitting puberty can put a pause on plenty of things, including Edward's plans and gifts. I hope we get to find out a bit of them in the next chapter though.
Such is life it seems to go slow at times and then it seems as if someone pushed the fast forward button.
It can't be easy having a toddler and a teenager at home at the same time. Lots of headaches, but also plenty of fun.

Thanks for not moving too fast so we wouldn't know how they enjoyed their night alone. It was quite the night, filled with surprises. Edward imagined Bella would be clueless, he should know better by now. She prepared things on her part to make it a night to remember and something that would belong only to them.
As for Carmen, she was set and determined to make herself present in Edward's life one way or another. She was thorough to say the least. Bella isn't happy, true, but there's not much, not to say anything they can do about it. Carmen had a crazy idea which isn't true, what could be better than proving her wrong? Even now. If she is looking from somewhere she won't be happy to see Bella is Edward's life and will always be. I think Bella using Carmen's money is enough to prove who Edward loves.

It wasn't expected and yes it was a huge shock, but as you said, there is suffering and loss in life. How we cope and deal is all part of it. The guys haven't been doing a good job, so Bella has had to be the rock everyone leans on. Just at different moments.
I lost my mom to cancer three years ago. I will always love her and miss her, but if my dad wanted to go out with someone, I will support him, it's not fair for a man to be alone and feel sad about himself and miss the love of his life. I am sure the ones looking from above don't like seeing them depressed.

Interesting. I am liking the story, where it seems to go, and where it's coming from.
Emmett, Bella and Rose are a closed unit who has found itself in a predicament. One, that apparently Bella will have to get them through. No one is happy with the situation, but they have learned to accept things as they come.
She wasn't happy about the meeting, but she never expected to be shocked by whom Edward is. He meant something to her in the past, and it seems it went both ways. But now... it's more of a battle for control, in which both are equally skilled.

Edward met her sometime ago and couldn't forget her, he wanted her. So he kept taps on her, things had the strong chance of turning on to his favor, and eventually they did. He might be a tough guy, but a part of him wants her to go to him willingly. Sadly, it seems Bella isn't thinking the same thing he is. However, she will honor her father's memory and promise, as long as Edward keeps his promises.
Will she stay as angry with him as she is?

The whole plot of this story is romance so I am contemplating on doing more on that rather on concentrating on the angst factor. Meaning her anger will lessen as the story progress.

They both remember what happened in NY, I would have thought it had been longer, but it was enough to mark them both. At first it seemed it was only Edward, but after Bella's talk with Jake, we got a different take on it. Jake's actions were bold and a bit stupid. He knows the kind of people there and he still took the chance. Sadly, for him, it was for nothing.
Bella proved she can and will take matters into her own hands if needed. That was a surprise for everyone. But I am sure for Edward it was a different kind of surprise ;)

Yes, Bella has grown quite differently from that girl Edward met in New York, though he still seemed to be as infatuated as before, if not more.

It seemed Bella was fine with all that was going on and happy about marrying Edward. She seemed so accepting at first, that wasn't exactly the truth. She still has doubts about him and his sincerity.
She threatened him, with a knife no less, and instead of getting scared, Edward was intrigued and aroused by it.
This will be an interesting relationship.

Bella is a mess, a part of her wants to hate him, or to at least not care for him, while another can't have enough of him. That has to be complicated.
What ever happened in New York, marked Bella deeply. So much, she doesn't want to hear anything about it, at least not yet. It seems Edward thinks he has a reasonable explanation. We'll have to wait and hear about it.

This won't be the reunion Bella and Edward wanted, it's going to get ugly. Bella isn't happy, at all, and she is going to make sure everyone there realizes it.
She is trying to completely settle into her new life, some parts are easier than others. Missing her family is one of the hardest, but she knows the reasons for the choices made and she will go on, even if it hurts at time. She is a strong and brave girl.

Edward gave his explanation, and it seemed accurate. However, it didn't make Bella feel better. She saw his reasons but didn't agree with his actions. Then what he said, I would have been as angry as Bella was. Edward really shouldn't have said it like that.
He got angry too, and that lead to... it seems reconciliation.

At least he got to profess his love for Bella, so that would redeem him a little. Their future together at this point looks good, don't you think? :D

He knows, he heard it, both from Rosalie and then from Bella. It is something terrible that happened, during a moment of desperation, and with little deep thinking. Thankfully, Bella was able to pull through and survive, not without scars.
At the time Edward was lucky, but as time passed and he found out... his scars are there now too. They love each other so very much. It's scary for them, the force within and in the other. They will need to figure out how to balance it. And how to make Emmett not want to kill Edward now.

Edward used Victoria to get Bella to leave. He knew Victoria wouldn't grow that kind of attachment to him, however, she has it for Bella. That doesn't make Edward too happy, but he knows things won't go anywhere.
He is a happy man who can't hide it. He i still able to do his job, but after it's done he goes back to his happy mode. Jasper is happy to see that.
So Bella and Alice went out, and Bella decided to do things her way instead of his. Something that really got Edward angry, he might have reason to be concerned, but he didn't handle things correctly.
That last text is proof of his anxiousness. Who is threatening him?

Yes, Edward is overly protective of Bella especially since they are in the mob. However, our Bella is a feisty and stubborn character that don't allow Edward to make decisions for her. This alone makes interactions between them interesting. =)

What is Jacob trying to do? Sending the flowers wasn't a really good idea. All he accomplished was to make Bella mad. So much she is willing to take some action to stop all of this.
Bella knew it wouldn't be easy getting Edward to agree on the trip, so she pulled out the big guns and disarmed him until she got what she wanted, even if she has to take Seth, she is going.
What happened that Edward had to leave in such haste? It can't be that bad if he said they will talk after Seattle.
She called him Mase, was it to get him to comply easier?

So... Emmett and Edward finding out about NY just now was really a very, very bad timing. Pain meds can cause confusion and Bella is loaded with them. Sadly the last thing she needed right now was any more drama, especially this one. Thankfully Rosalie was there to control the situation, at least for the moment, and while she took Bella to bed. I hope she returned to talk with both guys, they both need to snap out of their anger bubbles and really focus on Bella, and who ever is behind the attack.

Edward was close to loosing it. If Alice hadn't gone with him, who knows what might have happened, on the plane and the hospital. He is worried, of course, for Bella, scared anything might go wrong. Such worry has made him react without thinking first. Not the best of ideas.
They need to work together, Emmet, Edward and Rosalie. That's the only way they might find what really happened, and if Jacob has something to do with it.
Why did Bella reacted with panic when Jacob came for a visit? That sounded strange.

Edward wouldn't be Edward if he wasn't overprotective and extremely careful about Bella. Even if his actions upset her. However, she was able to do something about both of their situations. Edward was surprised, but I assume thankful at the same time. So he did something for her also.
The idea of the tracking device isn't going to well with Bella. Even though she can see it isn't all too bad, it would just be Edward's excessive worrying. But she agreed to it. Hopefully they will find balance.
Someone really close is after Bella, not something anyone would like to realize, not even her. At least she knows and now they can do more to keep her safe.

Yes, you are definitely right there. Edward just acts the way he is because he loves Bella and is afraid she'll be targeted.
The 'tracking device' is basically a good idea for them but Edward can use it when he gets jealous/possessive of Bella...which is what concerns her most. But she did agree for the implantation.

Envy and jealousy make us loose our minds, get ideas in our head that are absolutely wrong. Add rage to it and you got yourself a lunatic. Leah turned into that. As Bella said almost at the end, it was clear they weren't "normal" people, she should have guessed going after Bella wouldn't turn out in her favor. Perhaps she was too hopeful, or simply crazy right from the start.
Bella has a good heart, that's why she needed to know the reason behind Leah's actions, she cared for her some time ago. Realizing someone you trusted and cared for can do what she did has to be painful. Although, in Bella's world that can't happen. That's probably why Rose and Edward were there.
This chapter is over, it won't be the last threat they face, but at least it's not something they would need to worry about anymore.

He wasn't happy at all, I guess Alice will have to explain herself, if she hasn't already. It was a risky game and Bella made it riskier. She loves the thrill and this was very thilling, to say the least.
As for Victoria, yes she has a close relationship with Edward. She knows it and I guess she has figured Bella doesn't like her that much, so she decided to tease her a bit. What will Bella say to Edward? Once he is calm of course, tonight doesn't seem like the best moment to do so.

They are really taking advantage of the honeymoon, even with their entourage. But as Edward said, it was their fault, they decided to tag along. ;)

Things are a mess right now, a really big one with no clue as to where to start working from. Bella's anger is more than understandable, but she can't hold Edward responsible, even if he promised to keep her family safe. Edward is so stressed and worried right now, that neither can think straight. They need to calm down, something that won't be easy right now.
Rose needs to be okay as soon as possible. Meanwhile they need to find out who and how did this, while preventing another attack. Easier said than done.

Everybody's stressed...but they need to chill at the same time be careful because danger still lurks. Bella is irrational right now but she'll get over it...eventually. Edward promising something like that was stupid. Now he has to make amends with her.

Did anyone think or guess it would be Rosalie who would help Edward? We knew she has an amazing though selective heart, now Edward knows it too. He ows her much more than a Ferrarri, he knows and will never forget.
The fear Edward saw first and then felt was necessary for him to realize that although it's scary to vring a baby into the world it's also the greatest prove of love there can be. Once Bella saw it in Mase's face she let go of the bitterness.
Look out here comes overprotective Edward!!!

Bella wasn't going to stay behind with her arms crossed, that has never been her. Edward thought she would comply, he was wrong. So now things are interesting to say rhe least. Snake preferred her over Victoria and Bella is going along with it, little back-up and almost no plan... Just when she thought it couldn't get more complicatted, guess who showed up? ;)

Victoria was able to keep Edward at a distance so Bella could do what she needed to. It wasn't easy for either one, but apparently it worked. She got him to take the c. and then she was able to give him the serum also. Now lets hope it does work so Victoria and Seth can get what they need.
As for Bella and Edward, at the moment they are thrilled things are over, and they are together. But this will have to be discussed, a lot. It's going to be an intense discussion.

Good luck with the original fic, even if it takes you away from fanfic ;) Its worth it.
Bella was furious and with good reason. To be betrayed as her family has by someone you've have been so close with has to hurt enough to make her want to go after him personaly. Thankfully Edward was determined to stop her, but still help her. That's what sent him to Emmett. It wasn't easy but it is going to be for the best, just as Edward said. Those two working together will be terrifying, no doubt.

He is right though, it must be him who tells Bella all about and with as much proof as possible. She won't have an easy time hearing and then believing what Edward is about to tell her.
I wonder who could it be behind Edward's calls. He seems to have almost no clue... that's scary.

The meeting ended okay. Things were "settled" though no one is fully trusting the other. As Jasper, Aro gives me the creeps, he is hidding lots of things in my opinion. Emmett won't be too happy, but will agree it's better to take time to plan revenge and to find or figure what was that third thing Aro was supposed to talk about. Something tells me it involves Bella.

Nope, he needs to suffer and wallow a bit more. He went too far this time, not only with what he did, but then just leaving... That was wrong. He then got some really bad luck, true, but still. It's not the first time he has hurt her really bad. He is aware of his temper as he said, but he has to learn.
Bella will forgive him but he needs to sweat it out a bit more. Maybe Vicky could be the one to help Bella. It would be interesting to see them join forces, that would really make Edward tremble.

The family is starting to, if not accept Edward's choices, to at least respect them, to some extent.
The punishments received by the guys were good, really good. Rosalie helping out was a very nice gesture, even if she said it was not for Edward.
Bella is a fragile creature, in need of reassurance. Her choice of reassurance isn't accepted or understood by many. However, it doesn't mean it's wrong, it's just different and should be respected. She is fortunate enough to have found someone who can provide what she needs.
The Denali's visiting wasn't a good idea, right from the start. Sadly it seems it might even end badly.

Bella's past, something had to happen to her and/or Charlie, something big that the Cullens remembered when Edward said her name. It can't be too traumatic since she was happy and acting normal when on the phone with Leah.
The Cullens are divided and that has to be painful for Jasper mostly but also to the rest. What Tanya did wasn't nice. It's Edward's place to say what he wants and when he wants to, to his family.
Bella and Edward's first session went well. He wants more, much more and will be coming to see her a lot.
It seems Bella has never met the Cullens, does this have to do with her past?

Its been just over a year since the event so whatever it is. its been long enough that she has accepted it and move on but it did change her personality slightly but it didn't turn her into a sub that came naturally.
Jasper is going to feel the brunt of the split more so than anyone. all the hurt, frustration, anger, and anxiety has to go somewhere.
Definately frequent visits!
She has never met them because her past prevented it.

Edward is thrilled with how things with Bella are going. Even her dreams intrigue him and make him want more from her.
At home things are doing better. Carlisle has reached out and is starting to understand Edward. Both know Esme will need more time, but hope, eventually she will be okay with Edward again.
Bella pushes Edward to levels he didn't think he could have in him, or reach. Their time in the playroom was fullfilling for both.

Edward was at first upset, then worried about Bella. When Alice called, the relief was partial until he got to her. Both needed the reunion. They had been too anxious for what happened.
I was surprised how easily Bella complied to the new car. Perhaps it was because she was acting as his sub and couldn't speak up and say what she thought. It might have also had to do with how she had been living before meeting Edward.
Who is the boy in Bella's dream? How come Edward knows about La Push? It seems no one, on either side has said anything to Bella about it.

Edward has know about La push since he was one of the cullens caught hunting on their reservation all those years ago. i wouldn't be so sure about how much bella knows about both sides. (okay that was a hint)
as for the boy well i9 cant say yet but it will come out soon.
She complied because when she sign her agreement she agreed edward would what he felt she needed. he felt she needed a new car.

Edward was lucky Carlisle and Eleazar were close. Those three had a strong agenda and no will to back off or stop what they were doing. Tanya can really be manipulative. She used all of her knowledge to lure Esme into her bizarre idea.
Esme now is feeling really bad, sadly she should, she was "brain washed" She was shown things that for her are completely wrong. Using this Tanya was able to confuse Esme's mind until it was thinking what Tanya wanted. Fortunately, a mother's love in the end is so strong, it can brake the walls made to keep it locked.
Edward's siblings' presence at class, seems like a good effort trying to make Edward not be so angry. It might have worked, well have to wait and see.

Esme going to apologize and offering to fix the cottage for them is a great sign that she is really willing to accept both of them and their choices.

HOpefully Jasper will be able to find at least some kind of trace that will give them an idea or some clues as to who those nomads are. It seems they were there for a while, what were they there for? If it was just for feeding, they would just have passed by. So maybe Jasper will be able to find something useful.
It has to be tough for both Bella and Edward, even in different forms, to deal with the idea that one is going to leave the other. Both can say and repeat they won't leave, and still the other has doubts as Bella, or fears as Edward. Particularly him has to think a lot and figure what the future can bring.

I was surprised by the fact that Edward still doesn't see all of Bella's fears and insecurities. All she does is focused on and for him. She needs him as much as he needs her. Which brings us to the topic he dreads so much, time passing. He will have to make a choice, sooner rather than later. His conversation with Diana left an open window for other Domms to ask about Bella "when/if Edward moves".
Did Alice and Bella set the date for shopping? What are they going to buy?

I am doing an outtake for this story in Bella's pov for a blog, but then i will put it up here. he does see her insecurities and he keeps reassureing her but her fears are real and when you see her POV it will all make sense. Yes there will be a shopping date in there future. Alice will be babysitting for atleast one day. New toys and outfits i think.

Edward realized he can't go on without Bella in his life always. The thing is for that to happen he has to kill her. will she want that? He needs to know, he won't do it unless it is what she wants. With that in mind, he was feeling better, until he got home.
Alice's vision altered him too much. He was really angry, he went to her but didn't say much, he just showed in his actions and stance how unhappy he is. That is something that made Bella feel very, very sad. She wants him to be happy, to please him. Her actions did the opposite. He might forbid her going and she will agree to it. But I think they really should talk. Hopefully very soon.

Bella still isn't completely over for loosing her mom. I know that's something you don't get over completely, especially when it happened at young age. But she is lucky, she has her family around her. A family that loves and cares deeply for her. And yes, sometimes ashames and annoys. But that's part of family charm.

So... an invitation to a "secret wedding", a make up disaster, big brother getting all protective, and the real tough stuff.
Bella telling Edward, and us, a bit of the dark past she keeps hidden. It is huge and traumatizing for what little she said. It is unique Edward has been able to get so close to her. We'll have to wait and see.

They both have dark scary pasts they wish to keep there and to even forget. The last can't be easily achieved, but perhaps with help and encouragement, they can move forward.
It was surprising to see his family so accepting of her so quickly, after hearing Edward's story it makes a bit more sense. He has been lucky to have kept it all in the dark for so long. They must really have amazing lawyers.
So... they confessed their feelings, faster than anyone, but you, would have imagined. But they live in different towns... with very different lives. Now what?

A Clint Eastwood fan.... I liked that. And life's little coincidences couldn't have worked better ever. Scary police chief turned into buddy, even after drinking the wrong kind of beer. It was a memorable evening.
Bella changed the day's schedule, but it didn't seem to bother the others too much. And Rose's interview benefited from it. Edward probably said, even crypticly more than he has said in a long, long time.

Emmett had the best time ever at mass. He wasn't the one who was noticed. It was Bella, and she didn't like it, Emmett does. it had to be really embarrassing for her. Fortunately, she got to see Edward, and him to calm her down, and then to spend the day with him.
