"I don't know, Bella," Emmett said as he debated whether or not to agree to my visiting Reynolds. I had spent the whole morning in my office contemplating what I would say to him in order to have the best shot at him agreeing. I knew if I couldn't convince Emmett, there was no way of convincing Edward. So I worked on my boss and good friend first, knowing he was completely aware of the number of times I had already come face to face with the monster who was locked up just two hours south of here.
"Look, Emmett, I haven't come face to face with him since all of this bullshit with the apples and the notes began. I need to see that he is still in that prison with my own eyes. I know it's a bit ridiculous and the rational side of my brain knows he is. But there's the other side that was scared shitless by what took place in that house and the nightmares I've been having since then that needs to do this. I need it for my own sanity. Besides I want the opportunity to confront him about the apples and letters and see if I can catch him off guard. Get a read on him and see if I can make him slip up and give us some information."
"You've been having nightmares?" Emmett asked, surprised by my admission.
"Yes, which only increases my desire to make sure he is still in that prison. And I've had enough training and experience dealing with Reynolds that I know I can go in there and keep my cool around him. I want to make him see he is not getting to me even if he has to some degree."
"I hear what you're saying, Bella. I get it, I really do. But do you really think you might be able to get him to admit something?" Emmett asked quizzically.
"I got him to confess to the crimes he was being accused of didn't I?" I retorted.
"Yes you did. But this is personal, Bella. Can you really go in there and not let him rattle you?"
"Emmett, what he is doing to me is nothing compared to what he did to those other women. I had to sit there and listen to him tell me about what he did. So yeah, I think I can. I didn't let the gruesome vulgarity of what he'd done to them get to me when I'd convinced Reynolds that I understood him and empathized with him in order to get a confession. I won't let it bother me now either. If it will make you happy, you and Edward can both come with me. I know that either you or Seth would have to go anyways, so why not take Edward too? He won't like it anymore than you, so I figure he'll insist on going. Might as well just avert the argument and set it up that way," I said as I continued to argue my case with him.
"You should have been a fucking attorney, Swan," Emmett huffed.
"Oh, but then I wouldn't have the pleasure of working with you," I added sarcastically before painting a fake pout on my face that had Emmett rolling with laughter the second he saw it.
"Fine, I'll call down to Stafford and let them know we'll be there tomorrow. In the mean time, you get to call lover boy and make sure he is available to go then.

I went back downstairs and tried to occupy myself and not think about the fact that Bella was upstairs in my bathroom naked and wet. It wasn't an easy thing to do. Thoughts of her in my tub caused images of the day she had sprayed herself down after she'd washed her car to fill my mind. My head and my heart were telling me it was too soon to jump back into a physical relationship with her, that I had to take things at her pace, but my body was screaming just the opposite. Sleeping next to her every night and feeling her body pressed up against mine was bliss and torture all at the same time. I loved being there with her, having her in my arms all night long, but I was also yearning to touch her and make love to her again.
My thoughts shifted to the conversation we'd had the other day. I'd been sleeping in her room with her ever since the night we came back from her parent's house. After the first few days of me going back and forth between the two rooms to get what I needed, Bella said there was no way she was sleeping without me again so I should just move all of my stuff into her room. I was a little concerned that she was using me as a security blanket of sorts. I tried to not make a big deal about it but in the end I had to know if it was because she wanted me there for me or because of the bad dreams she'd been having, since it was the dreams that instigated my being there in the first place. Once we talked about it she assured me that while it may have started out because of the dreams, she loved having me in bed next to her and wanted me there because she loved me and didn't want to be away from me. Bella also told me that she'd only had one nightmare since we'd been out to the prison and it wasn't as intense as the others. Her explanation came as a relief to me. If she had been keeping me there because of the dreams, I would have stayed. But I would have also suggested that she talk to someone about her dreams, that they may be bothering her more than they should. It appeared that confronting Reynolds and seeing he was indeed still locked up gave her the result she had hoped it would.
Not wanting to be away from her any longer and thinking she'd be done with her bath soon, I made sure the loft was locked up, the alarm was set and then grabbed her bag, taking it upstairs to my room with me. I snickered to myself when it dawned on me that she'd been so excited to get in the tub, she'd forgotten to take her bag with her, meaning she wouldn't have anything to wear with her in the bathroom.
I got undressed and slipped into a pair of gym shorts and a t-shirt. Lounging across my bed I turned on the TV and caught up on all the local news while I waited for Bella to be finished with her bath. I was only slightly disappointed when she emerged from the bathroom, wearing one of my button-down shirts. And I say only slightly because even though I had hoped she'd be in nothing more than a towel, she was damn sexy wearing my clothes.
"Um… I hope you don't mind. It seems in my haste to try out your tub, I forgot my bag downstairs." She had a hint of pink on her cheeks as she pulled her bottom lip in between her teeth while she leaned against the doorway, waiting for my reply.

I am sorry but I didn't like the way this chapter was written. The whole thing was written as if Bella was telling us a story instead of us reading it happening in the present. I mean it was like "This happened and that happened and we did this and we did that." I mean there wasn't much direct dialogue where they spoke to each other and told the story as themselves. I dont think I am explaining good. I hope you understand what I mean.

“What are you up to, Cullen?”
“Just wanna help my girl relax before she goes to bed. I know this has been hard for you and I want to take care of you. Is that so bad?” he asked as he took my hand and pulled me up off the bed and held me tightly against him.
“Mmm, nothing wrong with it at all,” I said as I reached up and placed a soft kiss where his jaw and neck met. “I just have one request though.”
“And what would that be, Sweetness?”
“That you join me.”
“I think I can arrange that,” he said lowering his face and covering my lips with his. Without breaking the kiss, he picked me up and carried me to the bathroom.
Setting me back down on my feet, we began to undress each other, taking our time and savoring every moment as we kissed and touched until we were both bare. Edward had dimmed the light in the room, giving it a soft glow similar to that of candle light.
“No candles?” I teased, leaning my head back, allowing him better access to the spot on my neck where he was currently placing languid open mouthed kisses.
“Nope. Remember you are the only woman who has ever been here. So I am totally unprepared for setting up romantic moments. But you can be sure I will rectify that as soon as I can because I plan to have plenty of them here with you.”
“You’re gonna spoil me, Edward.”
“That’s the plan, Sweetness. Now let’s get you in the water before it gets cold.”

Yeah just a few bites won't turn her into a vampire. Edward would have to inject a large amount of green venom into her body to turn her. Bella can be turned, but she'll become a hybrid, which is a half blood. Hybrids are a little weaker than vampires but they can live for the rest of eternity just as a vampire. I believe ch 12 is where I explain the difference between hybrids and vampires. Oh and Aro forbids a human to be turned into a hybrid, but you'll see why in ch 12. lol

ok I really love this story but I am hoping my honesty does not upset you. I am only trying to help you as an author. I think they are too fast in their climaxing. I mean its over almost as soon as it starts. He should be able to last longer and give her multiple orgasams without him cumming. Aslo he should be able to change positions during sex to give her the best pleasure. Ok as for when they are cumming, I think you need to give more description of them cumming because it just seems so fast when you describe it. Like they cum and poof its over when really it takes a little longer to finish cumming and all the panting and grunting was missed I think. Also they could talk dirty during the action that is nice too. But I hate it when they do name calling, I dont like that at all. lol.

No she doesn't know yet. as for his uniqueness it will be explained to why she didn't pick up on all the little quirks that make up our favorite vampires. She has noticed that he is hard and cold. When the trith comes out it will be in a surprising way. me and dazzle worked very hard on a way that i have yet to read about.

That was pretty funny I mean the things with the guys having to learn have to give a blow job. I love that Bella is showing signs of being jealous it just shows her love. I was thinking that you need to put Bella in some kind of real danger so that Edward will have to save her and she can see that he is a vampire. Also I would love for it to be while she was on her period so he can see that he can control himself when he thinks he is going to lose her. I have read in another story once where Edward was actually able to enjoy her period and drink from her vaginally.

First I would like to say I dont know why you wouldn't be getting a lot of reviews. Your story is wonderful. I really love it. I usually review each chapter unless I feel like there was nothing really in it. So I hope my reveiws help. As for this chapter, well we already knew all that happened here from her telling Edward about it and from EPOV of when he met her so I really didn't feel like it was a new chapter but I understand that some people wanted to read it from BPOV. It just doesn't do anything for me to read the same thing twice. Dont get discouraged, you are doing a wonderful job.

Ha ha! You crack me up. First with the bath, I didn´t find it weird, to me it represented a nurturing mother caring for a broken and grieving child. Bella hasn´t suffered a death per se, but the fact that she´s trying to seem emotionally detatched to the Jacob situation has come to a head. Esme is caring for her just like she would her own children; comforting her by washing her hair or her back and just sitting with her is in no way wrong. Now about the speed. It will not be that long, I tried with everything within me to make it happen next chapter, but it was just getting too long and I had to stop it there. Or you would have chewed me out for that. Remember Edward is currently in Switzerland, so he has to make it back first. In the next chapter I promise you´ll see how the plan of the anonymous scene comes togther, one more chapter and we have lift off! So hang in there with me a little while longer! Well this chapter was interesting. I love the kisses that Alice sent to Edward. LOL. As for the phone I would think after years of having a secret love for Bella he would know her voice and vice versa. So the cell phone was not really believable to me. I would think that they would have only texted. Until the actual test scene. I cant wait for that. THis is actually getting me all anxious for this training to be over with already so we can see them together at this test scene. I cant wait to see when they find out who they other is.

Thanks, but that´s not necessarily true about the phone calls, because I have been living in Spain for the past three years and when I call back to America not everyone knows who they are talking to. Not to mention in five years, just like appearances voices chang too. Remember, she´s now 23, she wouldn´t still have the same maturity that she had at 18. Actually Seth didn´t talk like a four year old, Leah attempted to speak to him like he was a toddler, but that´s it. As far as the blanket and finger sucking go, that was true! I think my cousin was maybe 14 or 15 when he stopped sucking his fingers and it was actually a sweater and not a blanket, that his mother still has to this day and he´s 33! It looks like shredded wheat, but never the less it does exits! Lol! Yeah, sometimes we tend to drag things on, I didn´t get rid of my son´s pacifier until my mom wouldn´t stop her constant nagging! Ok first I want to say I really like this story as I am sure you remember me leaving you reviews. But I must say I did not like this chapter. It seemed very childish to me. The stupid client of Emmetts thinking Edward wanted to have sex with him, Emett acting like a kid at the pizza place, Edwards fishy tale I mean come on. If Emett was his best friend then I think he should at least act like a man and not a little kid. I dont mean to sound mean at all but this chapter really got on my nerves. All the other chapters were so much better. I just didn't find the stuff in here to be funny and I think that is what you were looking for. I found it childish and annoying. Edward is supposed to be a lawyer and lawyers are smarter than shit and I just dont think Edward or Emmett are acting smart at all. He needs to file for divore already and get rid of the evil wife that he never loved. Emmett needs to grow some balls and act like the best friend he is and not a cartoon charater. I know I am being harsh. I am truely sorry but after the wonderful chapters that I read from this story, this one is not even in the same catagory. I think it was a great chapter. I am glad that Emmett told Edward about what was going on. He needs to know even if he is thousands of miles away. I feel bad because they both want to say I love you but other things keep getting in the way of that. Poor Bella now the person knows where she lives too.

I liked this chapter. It shows that Edward is really worried for Bella and waits to make sure she is home safe. Also he came right away when Esme called for him when BElla was having a panick attack. I am not really excited to read a Charlie pov. I am more interested in longer chapter at the home with the girls and Edward. I can not believe how hateful Renee is with her own daughter. She doesn't deserve to even have children if she cant take Bella's word about what happend. I think the only thing Edward could do was sedate her to keep her from panicking.

I think you did a wonderful job with this chapter. I love that you had Charlie arrest Renee. She crossed the line. And as for Victorias baby, you are right not everything is sunshine and rainbows. I feel like you stole my line because I say that to authors when I give them a review I know they are not going to like. I dont like to sugar coat my opinion and I like to review almost every chapter. I feel an author can not grow if they are not told what people dont like. I love that Edward crawled in bed with bella to hold her and told her about Victoria's baby. Bella will probably need someone to hold her because I can imagine she is going to freak out now too, thinking that something will happen to her baby.

I dont get why Edward is still holding back from Bella since she is 18 now. Why is he still not embrassing his feelings for her? She feels like he doesn't even want to touch her. I hope the baby will be ok. But it will be really, I mean extremely hard to read if Bella leaves the baby there to go back to school. I mean why cant they get an in house tutor for the girls????? That would seem to help them so they can finish at least high school. I know she wanted to go to college but she could take online courses. Listen to me, talking like its real life, but to me thats how I read the story and I would do anything to help her.
