I thought this chapter was wonderful. I loved how the women sat around the kitchen talking about how to get their men aroused, and offering advice to the younger women for when their men get older. I love this family!
I also like how Bella stood up to Edward about her work, and how there were things she couldn't share with him. He is just so protective of her, and can't stand to see her upset. What a man!!!
But I think things are going to get a little rough when he tries to keep her in the house. She is not going to like that at all. I can't wait to see how they deal with this issue.
I have to say that it makes me really sad when you allude to the story coming to an end. I know it has to end eventually, but I'm just not ready for that to happen. I will feel lost!

Edward is the most amazing man and Dom. The way he chose to discipline Bella, and force her to realize what she had done, was just so compelling. “You couldn’t sleep?” Sue was concerned but Kim couldn’t resist “No there was a lot of yelling going on”

Before the conversation with Maggie Kim and Leah were teasing me in the restroom about how loud Edward and I were. So that meant that everyone else must have heard us too, which should have been evident by the laughter at the table. My face heated up as I tried to control my embarrassment while Edward just winked at me. Charlie on the other hand had no idea what was so funny came to his own conclusion. “I guess the kids on the beach must have been putting up quite a raucous if you heard it all the way back at the house”

Oh Louise, this chapter was so amazing and emotional. You have made me love these two characters so much. I am continually impressed with the depth of their psyches you manage to convey to us. You are truly brilliant in the way you show how Edward figures out Isabella's motives and comes up with a plan to help her. I have to admit I shed a few tears at the end of the last chapter and the beginning of this one. This line really got to me.....“in order to do that I have to surrender the last piece of my will, with the knowledge that it will be safe with you.” The love you have created between these two is so beautiful; and you show us that in their sex too...it's not sex just for the sake of sex. You are the best, and this chapter was simply beautiful.
You are so lucky someone sent you the MOTU story. I have bought both of the new books, but they just aren't the same as the original. I feel like something is missing, and Christian and Anastasia just don't do it for me, even though I try to call them their real names as I read. Btw, your story is right up there with that one. Edward is very analytical in his thinking, he looks at everything in steps and works through each step to achieve the best outcome...ie- the way he shops, making his list and sticking to them...where Bella is more of a winger and gets what she has coupons for...lol...and the same concept happened in the last chapters. Edward analyzed the situation and Bella waited for the inspiration to hit her...then once it did, she gave herself over to it and to him...anyway thanks for reading ...louise

Louise, this chapter was one of your very best ever!! I am totally amazed at how you have written this character of Edward. I have told you this before in other reviews, but I'm going to say it again... Your Domward is my favorite of all the ones I have read in fanfic. His determination and patience is so touching. He could talk to Isabella forever about her submission; but I think she can only learn when she reaches these conclusions on her own. Many chapters back when he asked her what her submission to him meant, it took a painful lesson from him to make her realize it meant total and complete surrender. But then she seems to forget this when she doesn't withhold her orgasm because it feels too good. He does take better care of her than she does herself. And he constantly reminds her that he loves her and isn't angry with her. I love this character! And you are a brilliant writer!!! Thank you for this story. It is one I will re-read many times.

Louise, I am finally able to get caught up on your story; and I am once again reminded why it is one of my all time favorites. Your Edward is, without a doubt, the BEST Dom ever. He explains things to her from not only his POV, but hers as well, making it easier for her to "get it".

I don't know how you do it, but each chapter gets better than the last one. This one had so many wonderful parts that I don't know where to start. First of all, I loved that Edward didn't let Isabella get away with the sighing even though they were at Emmett and Rosalie's house. I also loved how you let Alice get "outed" about her and Jasper's kink! So funny!
The way Edward handled the caning was pure genius! That is what I love so much about him. He thinks everything through so completely; and makes Isabella feel at ease enough to let her own feelings overcome her fear. You are so GOOD, Louise.
I can't wait to see what happpens next at this party; and why Edward left Isabella with Demetri. And of course, I am anxious to see what happens with Mike and Karen.

It was wonderful to see Isabella opening herself up to the idea of being spanked by Edward in front of other people and maybe even doing a scene with him. I'm sure he was hoping all this would have that affect on her.

Wow, what an amazing chapter!! I was really scared for Bella when she started bleeding. I hope it's nothing too bad (first thing we have to worry about). Then we have sicko Aro killing his son, and we know he is going to cause trouble (major thing we have to worry about). We have weird Mr. Cheney acting all crazy (something else to worry about). And now you give us Tanya for a cliffie!! How much worry can your readers handle? But mixed in with all this worry, you give us such glorious lemons. Possessive, aggressive, sexy Edward can fix all the angst you give us. This story is just so outstanding; and you are amazingly talented. James is really a scum bag, isnt' he? I'm glad she got Edward on the phone, but can he get there in time? You really know how to create suspense and lots of questions! I am so curious about what is going on with all these characters. Edward must be a lot older than Isabella, considering he has known her since she was five. And something really terrible must have happened to Isabella to make them all so protective of her. Your story is truly amazing. We have absolutely no idea where you are going with this, which makes it even more intriguing. Great work!!!

This was one of the best chapters! I was blown away by the way Nadine acted....she sure didn't turn out to be a true friend, did she? I can't say I was surprised by Jaimin. I knew he was controlling, but he is really showing his true personality now. I don't know if Claire should just run now, or wait to see if he is really that bad. I don't want to see her get hurt after the terrible childhood she had.
Btw, how do you pronounce Jaimin? I know how I have been saying it in my head, but I would like to know how you say it. I use a soft "j" sound, and say the "ai" like the long "a".

So... I can't help but notice that you didn't comment directly on chapter 10 - that was tough to write. Uncomfortable for everyone, perhaps. As for Nadine... she's a real piece of work, isn't she?
I hope I'm not losing you with Jaimin. He IS controlling, but still lovable. I'll leave it at that for now. The pronunciation of his name - I honestly couldn't find it. I chose the name for multiple reasons, but I believe the way you seem to hear it is the same way it sounds to me. And the 'min' as meeeeeen. Someone told me my assumption of how it's pronounced may be wrong, and if I actually heard it I might not like the pronunciation, but it's the way I have always heard it in my head, so that's what it is to me. I chose most of the names in this story for their meaning, and because I liked them ( obviously ;) The meaning of Claire is the title of the story, so...

So much drama in this chapter! I can't believe Nadine interfered in their relationship like that. I know she thought she was doing the right thing, but she definitely overstepped her boundaries. I hope you are going to give us more background on Claire's parents. Jaimin is definitely controlling. Maybe that is what Claire needs. Loved the chapter!

As far as reviews go-there may be people who read and just don't review, but ultimately I think most people just aren't interested in original fiction. They expect that nothing will intrigue them or pull them in. Or maybe just need a face to relate a character to? It's no different than reading a book, unless the cover art is character specific, you create the picture in your mind. At least I do. In any case, I can't force anyone to read it. Even my friends deny me. Oh well.

I had to reread this chapter (I do that a lot with this story) because it was so amazing and so emotional, that I wanted to be sure I absorbed as much as I could. First of all, the way you had Claire paint Jaimin to show him how she felt was just brilliant. I do feel sorry for Claire though. She is trying so hard to please Jaimin, but he is a very difficult man to understand. And I am truly astounded that he has managed to not have sex with her for this long a time. I know he said that she thought he didn't respect her, but I think she has proven to him that she is ready to take this step. The man has the restraint of a monk! I can't tell you how hooked I am on this story. When you finish it, I am going to really miss these two people. This is one I will probably read again and again.

THEY mean so much to me, and the fact that no one wants to bother-just because it isn't a twi fic, makes me sad. Oh, Mel, I have missed this story so much. I haven't been able to read it for a while due to RL, but I'm determined to catch up now. Your writing is just so beautiful that it almost makes me cry! This chapter was extraordinary. The passion between these two is almost palpable. Claire makes me hurt for her, and then she turns around and makes me laugh. She is just such an amazing character! And Jaimin... I'm not sure I have words for him. The passion just rolls off of him in waves, whether he is uttering beautiful words, or exerting that powerful control of his. The man is just beyond beautiful!!! I'm off to read the next chapter. Thank you for such an amazing story.

Wow, there was so much good stuff in this chapter! The Harem of Horrors was something else! I loved how Claire stood up to those awful, catty women! And I loved that Jaimin kissed her in front of them! And this obsessed Leal...he is really scary. Then Jaimin gave her the bracelet...the charms and his explanation of them was beautiful. Now we have the dinner with his parents to look forward to. I can't wait to see what happens there. Great chapter!!!
