This is a response, to your response, for my review for ELEVEN. I am leaving it here because I can't review it twice and the contact author link has been disabled.
You're right there is a warning there and I am sorry I missed it. I'm not angry but I was shocked.
People FREQUENTLY skip story and author notes, especially if they are long, start out like the standard I don't own Twilight disclaimer, or just don't really stand out because of big distracting pictures, lol.
When I pick out a new fic, I go to the MOST RECENT page and scroll. There was no warning there, which I think is where most people expect the warning to be. I am also often reading on smaller screens instead of a full-size monitor so I didn't even realize that there was anything else to read below the picture after clicking on the story link.
However, most people do read the summary when they are picking out a fic. Most will also read the rating, category, genre, contest, challenge, etc. I always look for relevant warnings like non-canon couples, horror, slash, man-whoreward, and no HEA there before I ever even click the story links, lol.
It was great writing though. I would have totally wanted to read more if he had decided to change her after hearing her thoughts :)

Thanks for replying. I'll make sure when I get home tonight that I'll edit the story to include the warning in the title summary as well. I must say Eleven is the darkest story I've written...if you decide to browse through my other one shots, you'll see they are fluff with a tiny bit of smut (lol)! this story, Episode is my only WIP, or multichapter, and the one shots I use to get through writing or plot challenges as well as siphon off some negatives or positive, depending on how I am feeling. Eleven came out of watching Breaking Dawn and thinking worst case angst for Edward and Bella, I don't find myself reading heavy angst much. Unless I know there is a HEA...
So, once again, I apologise for not making the warning stand out more... I would never want people to think I tricked them into reading something that made them shocked or uncomfortable, so a thousand apologies xxx

I like the setup of this fic and I want to see what happens next. I am really happy that Jake wanted Bella to be happy more than feeling the need to take her from Edward. Of course, he isn't a wolf either. I guess that makes the difference. But Sue seems amenable too.
They have done everything in the world already to show Charlie that they are in love, married, financially secure and very happy. There is no way somebody could be that dense and in denial after seeing that much evidence to the contrary, lol.
Now I am wondering if Rene is giving Bella a hard time about it too.

Be careful with spelling errors and switching POVs when you are writing and editing. It can get confusing. Like in the beginning of this chapter. You switched between Alice and Bella when it was supposed to be Alice. You might look for a beta reader who will help you edit and catch your mistakes.

Wow, so much need and loathing...I don't really like manwhoreward but he is in so much pain, wanting her so much, that I must know what is going on, lol. Since she is so off limits to him and he is so sorry and disgusted, I am thinking she is family to him, and/or younger. Maybe somebody he should care for and protect but not lust after. Somone not related by blood but maybe his father's wife, or brother's wife. Or maybe nobody's wife/girlfriend but a precious daughter/sister/something to his best friend, or she is his step-sister, etc. That would certainly be considered forbidden, lol. His dad/step-dad would probably want to kill him but it sounded more like a jealous lover to me. I don't mind forbidden. In fact I kind of like that but I am hoping she isn't married/in love with the guy who would kill him because I am a hopeless romantic who likes to read fics with one great love of their life kind of stuff. I can't wait to see who she is to him.

I've been rather amused by everyone's theories, and how far off most of them are, but perhaps you're a bit more insightful about a few things. And I'll say this... everyone has their 'thing' about Edward, and the way he is written or portrayed. This Edward hasn't been well received by all, and I get that, even though most of the h00rs like him just fine and are anxious for more of his escapades... but just know that this is just one glimpse, and he is not a one-dimensional character. Even if what comes next doesn't keep you with him, thank you for giving it a shot.
Bella pays a visit to the Doctors and gets more than she bargains for.
AH, lemony fresh, originally intended as a one shot, but I squeezed out a few more chapters.

I liked it until the end. Your should REALLY put a warning on this because many of us do NOT like to be shocked in this way. If I had known ahead of time how it ended I would not have even read it. This kind of end with NO WARNING is exactly the reason why I am so hesitant to even give a new fic/writer a chance.
