I didn’t respond to her question instead sighing heavily “What can I do for you Irena?”
“You can invite me in” She said as if it should be obvious.
Hesitantly I moved to the side to allow her entrance locking the door but leaving the alarm off, I wasn’t taking any chances. She stood in my living room watching Seth as he sat by my feet.
“I never thought you to be a dog lover” The sweetness in her voice confused me because the last time we spoke it was anything but friendly. That was the day she and Caius attacked Bella for which I found their actions deplorable.
“Cut the crap Irena why are you here?” My tone was rude but she deserved it and I didn’t trust her.

Angela needs to be a better friend and tell Bella not to settle for the "dog". Which chapter is it when he goes cliff diving again? He seems like a decent guy, but Bella is settling. Also she has an issue with the age gap between her and Edward, but the one between her and Jake is okay? She needs a good friend to smack her on the back of the head, where are Rose and Alice when we need them?
I laughed at Edward's obsessive thoughts at dinner. Really sharing her saliva? Having her declare how she and Edward belong together at dinner had been laughing.

GAH! I'm so behind with review replies!!! I don't know why I let myself get so bogged down. I get to a point where I am struggling getting updates written and then I can't even bring myself to reply to reviews. It's an illness. :)
You are right about Angela...she needs to set Bella straight, but she doesn't yet know there is a problem...neither does Bella. :) Only WE know that she is with the wrong guy.
I loved the "cliff diving" reference. It's come up a number of times in reviews. ;) It always makes me laugh. I guess I should include it...make Jake have a harrowing cliff-diving experience at the end of a chapter, and then leave you all hanging from that cliffy (LOL), to come back to the next chapter and see if I've really offed the guy.
He is a decent guy. Just like in Twilight. But you are right about Bella settling...just like in Twilight...she would have been settling if she'd stayed with him. She still does have that age gap thing with a younger man...although for some reason it's okay for her to be three years younger than the guy. She has always also seen Edward as her tutee and then her student. He has always been behind her in school, college, and in a career. Now, however, she is seeing him on a level playing field...although she has Jake blinders on. So there is a big dilemma to get past before this becomes a B & E story.
You said she needs a good friend to smack her on the back of the head. Maybe she needs a new friend in the guise of a former student.
Glad you are still enjoying Littleward's pervy thoughts. I love that little hormonal guy. ;)

I laughed when Edward was excited that she didn't run for the hills when she found out he was moving in. Anyone in their right mind would be celebrating and figuring out ways to combine two apartments into one if they found out Edward was moving into the building!
"Casual" Edward, I love how he revealed his new residence location to Bella. Obsessed, stalker, pervert! Gotta love him!
LOVE Jasper. I have said it many times, you write the Jasper character very well! He sure is good at math and at helping Edward figure out how to get more "Bella time"

You just described what reading Twilight is like for me, as well as at what reading your stories is like for me. I get lost in your characters.
Emmett, Emmett, Emmett...there really isn't much to say about him. He makes me laugh. You seem to be able to capture the childlike qualities he has. Yet you also show the protective big brother side.
Jake was mentioned...not happy with that. Can you send him cliff diving? Please? I am trusting you here...
The mind of 13 year old Edward is a scary and fascinating place to be. It makes me glad that I can't read minds, especially around young teenage boys.

I'm so glad you liked my little nod to being totally enamored with Twilight and the resulting fanfics and loving being lost in this little universe. Yep. That little paragraph was intentional and directed to all fanfic readers:

I've been a long-time reader of Master of the Universe and the final chapter was recently posted. I didn't know until I read it that it was the final chapter. Yikes...it was like having the rug pulled out from under me and I'm still reeling and numb as if someone died. Sort of. I think you know what I mean.
So back to your review: I'm glad you like my Emmett...I guess I really see him only one way---constant torment and loving older brother.
Sorry about the Jake thing. I have to do it...but trust me... ("Trust me." -E. Cullen) I do love the cliff diving scenario, however. Maybe when the tide is out...?

So, so, so, so, sorry about the lengthy wait between your review and my two-week late reply. :( I felt kind of listless about writing. I guess I was kind of in a funk. I finally got my act together and finished a chpater 8 this morning.
So, you were wondering about Edward's 21st birthday. You'll get a little more on that event in chapter 8.
And poor Littleward and his post tree drop injury lst chapter. Banged up but still ready for any imagined action his pervy little mind could conjure. ;) Such a cute little horndog.
I love how everyone is aching for me to throw Jake off that cliff-diving cliff. When the tide's out, I'm assuming? Thought so. lol Well, you'll get quite a bit of background on the jake story in chapter 8 as well. And Angela has a lot of pretty interesting thoughts to share. If only Bella were listening to them and thinking of how they can be applied to how she feels and is resistant to feel about Edward. But we've got to give her time. She's got to come around and see what's right in front of her.

I really don't like conversation hearts, but if they could get me an Edward I could learn to like them. I love the sweet side of Edward that you always manage to show. I love that he kept the hearts and didn't eat them. When I read what they said, I thought, he better not eat those hearts!
I love the visual of Tyler getting tag-teamed by Emmett and Edward. The two Cullen boys are my hereos, protecting a damsel in distress.
I am liking these peaks into Bella and Edward's histories. I also like that we are getting both points of view.

Conversation hearts don't really float my boat either, but it's fun to think that Little Edward saved that box and those three candies and put them away for safe-keeping. Who knows what else got put into that box over time?
I love the sweet side of Edward. I'm glad you were thinking he shouldn't have eaten those candies...and see? He didn't!
The Tyler Crowley beatdown is proving to be a favorite. What's not to love about beating the crap out of a lesser character? LOL I love the two Cullen boys. There's an Emmett chapter you're really going to love. I love Emmett picking on his younger brother--as if you didn't figure that out in the Transfer. :)
I'm glad to know you like the peeks into their pasts and hearing both POVs. I just hope it doesn't get confusing. Seems like everyone reading and commenting is okay with it.

I love horny little teenage Edward. I am surprised though that his grades are improving. I really don't think he is focusing on schoolwork when Bella is tutoring him.
These little tidbits of information that you are letting out keep a person wanting to know more. A great way to hook a reader.
Will Alice and Jasper be making an appearance this time around? I love how you write Jasper. I still reflect fondly on his kilt...

I don't know how I let this review from you sit here for nearly 2 weeks unanswered. I'm soooo ashamed. I think my problem is I've got too much going on on too many sites now. Plus there's that annoying little thing called "a job" ---it just really cuts into my writing time.
I'm glad you love my little Horndogward. ;) His grades are improving because he really IS very bright, just never put out the effort until Bella walked into the kitchen. and once he saw how positively she reacted to a few good grades, you can bet he is working hard to remember everything. Maybe he goes back to his room and studies once she has left since he was so busy ogling her while they were working together. lol
I'm glad to know you feel kind of "hooked" by the little bits of information. It's kind of hard to decide what piece of information to drop here and there. I'm really such an organized, linear, chronological sort of person...telling a story this way really goes against the grain. :)

I will admit I laughed at poor Edward falling out of a tree. He literally fell for Bella. The sad thing for him is, he fell before he got to see the "good stuff". He didn't even get to see a pillow fight at the sleepover. Poor boy. Then to be found out by your father. He should have pulled the "Pet Sematary" card. Maybe the cat came back, they do have 9 lives you know.
I got excited at the mention of Jasper. Please let him come into the story, kilt or no kilt (no kilt has some possibilities here). Oh yes and 3 yrs isn't too big an age difference. There is 2 yrs between my hubby and I. Of course we were 18 and 20 when we started dating.

That poor little Pervward DID fall for Bella, didn't he? And thank heavens God was watching out for him, not allowing him to become the pervert that he nearly did. ;) Poor Carlisle...coming to the realization that Little Edward was INDEED just as bad as Emmett. ;)
Jasper...yep he'll be in this story. He's Edward's best buddy growing up,; same age. I don't imagine there will be a kilt, though maybe I'll figure a way out how to get a kilt mention in there...for old times sake. ;) I think you'll like this Jasper...he'll be kind of an outdoorsey, granola-eating sort of philosophizer.
And the whole three years thing...so many of my readers are 2-5 years older than their hubs. You all know it's fine, I know it's fine, Edward sure doesn't give a shit...but Bella...she's got issues, plus they just have a weird past, in addition to the whole tutoring thing...there's more. You'll going to get a lot of that very shortly.

So...to chapter 9 first of all...
None of us really likes the thought of Jessica, but Edward was young, there was some peer pressure coming at him from several directions...Jessica and Jasper...And you're right...Forks doesn't have that many options. Besides...the chances of him bagging the Spanish teacher were not looking so good.
And the view...well...that's another chapter. I'll get there to that review in a bit. ;)
And yes...we're finally getting to see a little bit more of Edward's thought processes. He's still got that edge that he had as a little Pissy Youngward as well as little Pervward's thoughts and dreams. LOL
I'm going to try to update the Transfer before I post another chapter of OST. We'll see how that goes...this story has me by the hand now and is leading me along. It's hard going back and forth. :)

Edward's got the Bella-view at the Bellevue! Could anything be more perfect...or more upsetting, depending upon whether or not Jake is visiting her... :( But you are right...they will be running into each other a lot.
